Gladihoppers
Game Overview
Gladihoppers is a 2D gladiator fighting game that uses physics to shape every hop, swing, and landing. You enter arenas as a bouncing, ragdoll-like warrior and face opponents in spaces where momentum affects both movement and attacks. The result is a fight that depends on position and timing as much as the weapon you choose.
The physics changes how a strike begins and ends. A jump can carry the gladiator into range, but a poor landing can leave the fighter exposed. Attacks need room to connect, while a moving body can turn an expected hit into a miss. You read the arena, adjust to the character's trajectory, and look for a moment when an opponent cannot recover.
That makes Gladihoppers a 2D fighting game with physics movement and a gladiator game with arena battles. Each exchange gives the same weapon and arena rules a different timing problem, depending on where both fighters land. A clean hit can decide the next exchange, but the follow-up still depends on the landing.
Arena fights combine direct attacks with movement around hazards and open space. A strong position can limit an opponent's route, while an awkward angle can make a powerful swing useless. The ragdoll-like movement keeps each exchange readable but unpredictable, rewarding players who learn how the warrior carries momentum through a battle.
Choose Gladihoppers if you want a physics gladiator game with bouncing movement and arena fights. Its 2D fighting loop links momentum, attack timing, landings, and positioning. Each bout gives the same simple objective a different physical problem to solve.
