Paper Minecraft
Game Overview
Paper Minecraft is a 2D sandbox game with mining and crafting, presented as a side-scrolling survival adventure. You gather materials from the surface and underground, turn them into tools, weapons, armor, and building blocks, then decide how much time to spend exploring, constructing, or preparing for danger. The world supports a choice between practical survival and open-ended building.
Survival Mode connects resource gathering with health, food, equipment, and hostile enemies. Survival crafting ties those choices to the tools and shelter you need. Daytime gives you room to search for wood, stone, coal, iron, and diamonds. Night brings more danger, so stronger equipment matters before the light fades. Caves and deeper layers can hold valuable ores, but they also take you farther from safety.
Creative Mode provides unlimited resources for large structures and experiments. Peaceful Mode removes hostile interruptions and suits exploration or construction at a calmer pace. Forests, caves, mountains, and underground regions give each mode different spaces to investigate, while the 2D view changes how you plan tunnels, shafts, shelters, and routes.
Paper Minecraft is a browser game with survival and creative modes for players who want a 2D sandbox game with mining and crafting. The core loop links materials to better equipment and buildings, then sends you back into the world for the next resource or project. Each mode gives the same block-based world a different purpose.
